Nora signed her dog, Benny, up for an online obedience class.
The trainer said, Sit, and Benny sat perfectly.
Nora was amazed until she saw him staring at the biscuit beside the laptop.

Nora put the biscuit on a high shelf. Benny stood up, walked to the shelf, and looked back at her.
The trainer told Nora to ignore him.
Benny sighed loudly. Then he tapped the empty biscuit plate with one paw.
Nora stayed still. Benny picked up his lead and placed it in her lap.
The trainer praised his problem-solving but reminded Nora not to give in.
Benny went to the kitchen, returned with his bowl, and dropped it on Nora’s foot.
Nora said he must be hungry. The trainer said Benny had eaten ten minutes earlier.
Benny sat beside the shelf and gave one short bark.
Without thinking, Nora stood, fetched the biscuit, and handed it to him.
The trainer wrote something on his clipboard.
Nora asked whether Benny had failed the class.
The trainer said no. Benny had completed the advanced section.
Nora looked confused.
The trainer smiled.
He trained a human to fetch on the first command.
