Each morning, Owen bought a coffee and had his loyalty card stamped. After nine coffees, the barista told him the tenth was free.
Owen arrived the next day with a large flask and an enormous smile.
‘One coffee, please,’ he said, handing over the card.
‘Your free one,’ the barista said. ‘Usual size?’
Owen held up the flask. ‘I saved the card for this moment.’
‘The offer is one cup, not one container.’
He put the flask away. ‘That’s a pity,’ he said. ‘I was going to bring the bathtub for my second card.’
