Reba McEntire is now 68 years old and she earned a good name as an American country music singer and actress. But Reba’s life did not ease. This year marks the 32nd anniversary of a plane crash where she lost her friends who were very near and dear to her. She took a break from country music in the late 1970s. Reba is considered the best singer four years in a row Country Music Association. She is also a very talented star in Hollywood.
But some tragedies of her life she never forget. Although her incredible career and fame did not remove them.
In 2022 Reba’s mother Jacqueline could not recover from Cancer and died at the age of 93.
Reba wrote something for her mother on social media and said that she had a wonderful healthy life and she was ready to go. May cancer thought that it won the battle but she must go to God.
Actually, her mother Jacqueline has a dream to be a country singer that’s why she taught Reba to sing.
Reba said that she knew how much we loved her and how much she loved us. She also expressed her feeling that they missed her very much.
32 years ago on 16th March, she lost her seven band members in a crash plane incident. their tour manager was also with them. Reba and her band were coming back from a music concert and they were going to perform at their next concert, two planes were waiting at the airport in San Diego. The tour manager and her band members flew while Reba and her husband stayed overnight in San Diego.
The aircraft badly crash from few miles from the airport. The tip of the wing of the plane stuck to the rock and everyone in the plane died.
Reba said that Narvel ( Reba’s manager) told the whole story to our pilot about what had happened.
Narvel came to us in the hotel and told us about the plane crash. she asked him again and again if were they ok ? And he replied that he did not think so.
whenever Reba told that tragic story she had tears in her eyes.
29 years passed and she never forgot her band. She posted a photo of her band on Instagram remembering the day’s tragic events from that day.
